I'd like to get one more day (or half day) of diving in before Haigh closes. Just got a new dive computer I want to get wet before the end of the season.
Let me know when you'll be available and I'll check with my better half. It's about a 90 minute drive for me, so I'm pretty open as to time.

I too would like to get one more dive in before the season is over, and I also have my new (well replacement) dive computer to try. My usual dive buddy has been sick and/or busy so we've not had a chance to make it out ther.

Our pool session was stopped at the Y because of a storm so it looks like it will be at least another week before I get my cert. But I will be willing to go last week or 2 they're open if any of you are willing

They stopped diving at an [b]indoor [/b] pool because of lightning [b]outside[/b]? What a bummer!
I will consider diving in November if that's what is needed. Heck, it'll be one of the rare times the water feels warm (relatively).

As soon as I know what day I'll finish classes I will post it. BTW I'm Joe I'm a 42 yr old married guy from Valparaiso IN I love to fish and have a 16' deepv and plan on diving as much as i can afford too next season, and as of right now have no dive buddies. So if any of you folks will be interested in diving the great lakes, haight, long lake in valpo maxincukee in culver barbee chain in north webster let me know. I'm also open to any suggestions.

I am a regular at Haigh, and will be there next weekend if I don't get a Lake Michigan charter. NOW is the time to dive! I was there today, and the viz is better than it's been all summer. Email me at deannolan@excite.com if you need a buddy.

I will try and make it out by 8am-ish too, provided nothing pops up unexpectedly.
BTW, I'm Shannon and I'll be toting a big marroon dive gear bag that I could fit inside. I'll be busting out the ol' 7mil FJ for this trip since I don't think my 3mil will cut it so I'll be wearing some serious weights. Grrr...

Well, it looks like I jinxed myself... I broke my big toe in Tae Kwon Do on Thursday night. I'm having a hard time with shoes, so fins and booties are not even an option. You all have a freezing good time. :)

Well, now I learned a lesson - be real specific about when and where to meet, and how to recognize people I've never met. I spent an hour wandering around asking everyone if they were "Dave D., Dean or Blaster". (Got some interesting looks on that last one.) Couldn't find any of you.
Luckily I linked up with a DM from Skokie who let me tag along on his O/W class dives. Visibility was [b]great[/b]! Water 64 degrees. Had a couple of really nice dives and was very comfortable in a 7 mil wetsuit.

I can dive any time on Tuesday.
I could be down there by 9am, and can dive till about 7pm.
Let me know.
I have talked to another diver on Scubaboard, and he may also be able to dive Tuesday.
Any other divers out there want to get wet Tuesday.
