I was at Haigh today, and the viz is the best I've seen it in months, 20-30 feet I think.  The water is in the 60's just about everywhere.  The classes are thinning out.  I even saw a paddlefish twice today!  This is a great time to dive at Haigh.  I'm going to try to get some charters in before they close, but they are iffy.  My charter yesterday was canceled due to lake conditions.  If that happens next weekend, I will be at Haigh!

I haven't been there in weeks! It seems like FOREVER ago! I remember early on in the season it seemed as though you were diving through pea soup or something, the viz was horrible!!! Last time I was out there was for the clean up day, the viz was getting so much better. With the new students out there throught out the season, that didn't help the viz much either! Now that it is getting a little bit colder, and the students are scared of cold water, it would be a great time to get in a few last dives before the seasons end.... Otherwise it's Ice diving classes for me!!! lol... that is something I want to do also! I'm sure that will be fun!

Club had checkouts there a couple weeks ago.  Was told you could see the top of the Flamingo from the surface.  Not too shabby.
