What is the opening weeknds like? Is the quarry busy with lots of people and would a 7mm wetsuit be suitable for the cold water. Thank You
Current water temps - 45.As far as a 7 mil - depends on how well you handle cold. And whether you're planning on just one dive, or more than one. Personally, I'm waiting a little bit until the air temps warm up - I rather get more than one dive in. (Maybe next week if it EVER warms up around here!) As far as crowds - someone else will have to answer what opening day is like, but I wouldn't think it would be too bad. It's mainly going to be dry suit divers, and there won't be any classes doing check out dives.
