My daughter and I went snorkeling for several hours on Wednesday 7-21-10. The water was great. We could see the plane and artifact park and the tricycle from the surface. That is a 40 feet visibility. We saw 6 X-large catfish in the south east corner of the quarry. I had never dove in that corner, but the next time I scuba dive, I will most certainly make that corner my destination. My daughter just kept saying "Mom, this is so awesome" She was right. We also enjoyed a great cookout while resting between swims. We toured around the entire out skirts of the quarry and several times across the center of it. Totally enjoyable day.
